Does Sabrina Burkholder from Return To Amish have custody of her kids? The ex-Mennonite has had quite the troubled past ever since she left her Mennonite community in 2012, as documented on TLC’s series Breaking Amish. Now, Sabrina returned for the new season of the spin-off series Return To Amish, and she got into a nasty fight with her co-star Jeremiah Raber after he accused Sabrina of “signing away” custody her kids.

On the season premiere, Sabrina was invited to a breakfast meeting for Jeremiah’s new business Jeremiah’s Amish Donuts by one of Jeremiah’s new hires, new cast member Lowell. But since Jeremiah and Sabrina have a very rocky history, things got tense really fast when Jeremiah basically accused Sabrina of choosing heroin over her children. In the past six years, Sabrina has been in and out of jail, struggled with heroin addiction, and last year she confirmed that she signed away custody of her two daughters Oakley and Arianna and they were later adopted by their father’s sister because she could no longer care for them.

“I signed my kids off because it was the best thing to do for them,” Sabrina, 28, said during their argument.

“Or was it because you couldn’t stop doing the heroin?” Jeremiah, 33, hit back. “Exactly, because you made that more important. And you, as a kid being adopted, you should fucking know when you’re adopted — you don’t do that shit to them. that’s why the hell I’m pissed off.”

In his confessional, Jeremiah explained that he was particularly upset with Sabrina because since she was adopted, she should know what it’s like. “Sabrina’s adopted and she knows what being adopted does to a kid, and now she turns around and lets her own kids be adopted out? Come on,” Jeremiah said. “Now she’s putting her kids through the same exact thing that she went through.”
