The body of music producer Roosevelt Rene has been discovered at the home of New York Giants player Janoris Jenkins on June 26,TMZ reports. The body was reportedly found in the basement by someone who works on the property, and police were immediately called. It's unclear how the 25-year-old victim died, or if any foul play is suspected, but Janoris has been out of town for spring training, and was notified by phone of the discover. Roosevelt was a friend of Janoris, and was living at the home.

The Giants cornerback has had several legal issues leading up to the newest drama. While in college, he was arrested three times, had four kids with three different baby mamas, and failed multiple drug tests. His antics got him kicked out of the University of Florida despite his amazing record, and after going to Alabama he also failed drug tests. Still, he made it to the NFL in 2012 and he seemed to straighten himself out.

Janoris famously defended his University of Florida college buddy Aaron Hernandez on Twitter after he was found guilty of murder in 2015. "Smh that's crazy," he wrote. "I'm confused man can somebody explain that to me. No proof, no weapon, no nothing yet you get charged. Police killing everyday but no charge being made. What world do we live in?"

In the aftermath of the body being found at his home, a prankster edited Janoris' Wikipedia page to read, "On June 26, 2018, Eli Manning’s career was found in the basement of Jenkins’ New Jersey home." Eli, of course, is the quarterback of the NY Giants.
