Hilary Duff’s Alpaca
In February 2019, actress Hilary Duff adopted a baby alpaca. She announced the new addition to her “family” on Instagram on February 10 and wrote, “OMG my baby Ivan. Welcome to the family! Ivan will stay on the alpaca farm with his friends until we are ready to be farm people! We get to visit when ever we like! I’m the luckiest girl. Ok. @matthewkoma serious swoon ♥️.”

Audrey Hepburn’s Deer
The incomparable Audrey Hepburn had a pet deer named Pippin. She met Pippin while shooting the 1959 movie Green Mansions, and the animal trainer on set suggested she take the deer home, according to Buzzfeed.

George Clooney’s Pot-Bellied Pig
Actor George Clooney once had a pot-bellied pig named Max. “Max was often seen rooting around on set while Clooney was filming and was allowed in the mega-star’s bedroom,” The Guardian reported in December 2006 when the critter passed away at the ripe old age of 18.

Kirstie Alley’s Lemurs
Kirstie Alley told People in 2016 that she had a grand total of 14 lemurs. “I just fell in love with them,” she told the outlet. But she warned, “Lemurs live a long time – about 30 years – so it’s a huge responsibility. You have a dog, and it lives for 15 years if you’re lucky, but lemurs live for 30 years or more and they eat all organic, and you have to keep them meticulous.”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Tortoise
In October 2014, Us Weekly reported that Leonardo DiCaprio owned a Sulcata Tortoise. He bought it at the North American Reptile Breeders Conference and Trade Show in Anaheim, California that year, and Jay Brewer Vella, the owner of the reptile shop Prehistoric Pets, told People at the time, “We had no idea he was coming.”

Luke Bryan’s Goats and Llamas
Luke Bryan and his family apparently own a lot of farm animals who live at Brett’s Barn, an animal rescue started in honor of the Bryan’s late infant niece Sadie Brett Boyer, Wide Open Pets reported in 2o18. Chickens, goats, and llamas are just a few of the critters who roam there.

Michael Jackson’s Chimpanzee
Pop singer Michael Jackson famously owned a chimp named Bubbles. When he was just four years old, he went to Japan on a tour with Michael, the Center for Great Apes reported. Bubbles was eventually “retired” and moved to the center in March 2005 after he grew too strong to be around people. Jackson’s Estate continues to support the care of Bubbles at the sanctuary.

Mike Tyson’s White Tigers
Mike Tyson owned three white Bengal tigers. But For the Win reported that he was eventually forced to give them up. In 2014, he told Us Weekly one of the tigers was named Kenya, and he also once had a lion named Omar.

Paris Hilton’s Kinkajou
Paris Hilton had a pet kinkajou named Baby Luv. In 2006, she had to go to the emergency room after it bit her and she had to get a tetanus shot, according to Today. In September 2017, she posted several photos of herself with the creature to her Twitter.

Ariana Grande has a pet pig named Piggy Smallz. Super cute, right? He was actually featured in the music video for her hit “Breathin’,” and Us Weekly reported in October 2018, “The clip is three minutes of adorableness exclusively featuring Piggy [Smallz] walking around and living its best life.”

Reese Witherspoon owns two mini donkeys, Honky and Tonky, but Us Weekly reported in 2011 that her neighbors were not overly fond of the creatures. They are apparently pretty noisy and a source told the outlet, “They’re driving us crazy!”

In 2004, Vanilla Ice lost his pet kangaroo, Bucky Buckaroo, and his goat named Pancho in Florida, according to WPTZ. They actually managed to dent a car before animal control found them! Talk about an epic adventure for an unlikely duo.

Kristen Stewart’s Wolf Dog
Actress Kristen Stewart owns wolf hybrids, according to MTV. During an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2010, he showed a photo of one of her dogs and Kristen said, “This is my pet. This is Jack. He’s our oldest male. I know he looks kind of scary. He’s a wolf. He’s really sweet … [We got him] from Florida, actually … They told us [he’s a wolf]. The dark ones are apparently European. They’re wolf dogs. They’re hybrids.”
