What the heck has Mohamed Jbali been up to these days? Oh, just living his best life in Texas! Since the former 90 Day Fiancé star was granted a divorce from Danielle Mullins, he’s been residing in the Lone Star State. For a while, it was rumored that the TLC personality was getting deported, but now he says he’s applying to become a US citizen.

During a Q&A with fans on Instagram Stories, Mohamed revealed, “I will apply for a citizenship when I turn five years from day one I got my green card [sic].”

Back in December, the former reality star shared a cryptic photo on Instagram of paperwork from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services that seemed like he was denied a green card. Shortly after he shared the photo, Mohamed took to Instagram Live to explain his future in the United States — and he revealed that he posted the photo as a joke!

“They think that I’m going to get deported but that’s not the case,” he said. “Friends know someone broke into my car last year and stole my wallet with everything inside, my green card inside. I applied for the replacement green card and to get a new card, it takes some time. In the meantime, while waiting for the replacement card, the old one expired and because of that, they denied the application for sending the replacement green card — not to issue one in the first place.”

During the same recent Q&A earlier this week, Mohamed revealed that he’s single. He also opened up about his famous ex and said they “don’t talk anymore.” So what exactly is he looking for going forward? He says he just wants a “life partner to share my happiness with.” That’s not too much to ask! Get in line, ladies.
