It sounds like Miranda Lambert is going to start off 2018 as a newly engaged woman! Even though Miranda is still scarred from her heartbreaking split from her ex-husband Blake Shelton, she’ll finally get her happy ending because there’s an engagement looming for her and her boyfriend Anderson East. Sources reveal to Life & Style that after two years of dating, Anderson is planning to close out 2017 by popping the question and putting a ring on it!

“Anderson plans to slip an engagement ring on Miranda’s finger before their midnight kiss on New Year’s Eve,” an insider reveals. This engagement is well thought-out too, the source reveals, and Anderson even has the days leading up to the engagement all planned out.

“They’ll be spending the holidays with each other in Nashville, Texas, and Alabama,” says the insider, “doing their favorite things like horseback riding, playing with their dogs, fishing, cooking dinner and writing songs with each other.”

Miranda, 34, and Anderson, 29, started dating in December 2015 — just five months after she announced her split from Blake. They made their debut as a couple at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards, and they’ve managed to keep their love story somewhat private over the past couple of years.

Now they’re ready to take the next step in their relationship, and the timing couldn’t be any more perfect because they will both be extremely busy starting in January and Anderson wants to make a commitment to his lady before they take time apart to focus on their careers. On Jan. 18, Miranda will embark on her 25-city Livin’ Like Hippies tour while, Anderson — who is also a country singer — will be hitting the road on Jan. 11 to promote his Encore album.

“Miranda is about to have a New Year’s Eve that she’ll never forget,” the insider said, and they’ve already talked about the wedding plans! “[Anderson and Miranda] have their sights set on their dream wedding in Nashville next summer.”
