It looks like Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie Standifer isn’t too happy with MTV at the moment. On her blog, the mother-of-one, who’s married to Ryan Edwards, got real about why she’s on the show and how it’s affected her life.

In a post titled “Dear World,” Mack started by asking, “What’s it like being on TV you may ask? Must be so glamorous, right?” Mackenzie has made her tensions with MTV quite obvious in the most recent episodes of OG, and even continually feuds with Ryan’s baby mama Maci Bookout. “Let’s start from here,” she went on. “This is a very, very lonely life. It takes you to dark places and it forces you to find yourself and to define what you’re made of.  It’s about showing the world the ‘story’ while knowingly opening yourself up to hatred and vile comments at your expense.”

She then continued on to talk about the broadcasting of “mistakes” which could be a reference to hubby Ryan’s on-camera battle with drugs and the aftermath of that including his stint in rehab. “Whatever you do, it’s broadcasted,” she said. “Whatever mistakes you make, they’re broadcasted. Your ups, downs, and in-betweens, broadcasted. The best day of your life along with the very worst day possible…..broadcasted…I think it’s commonly forgotten that behind screens, we are real people. Real people with real attitudes. We have real emotions, real families, real hurts, real love, real opinions.”

The blonde beauty also took a dig at MTV’s editing, implying that what’s shown on TV isn’t the full truth. “Another common misconception… that what is shown is what is 110 percent true,” she said. “It’s easy to believe that, but it’s not right. It’s easy to show the ‘half-truth’ and portray it as whole. But that’s ok because regardless of what happens, whether right or wrong, you’re considered scum.”

She ended the heated post with a message to her haters that they weren’t going to bring her down. “Go ahead, hate me and what you think you know about me, my family and my decisions,” she said. “But never forget that we are all humans out here trying to figure out life. And it’s times like this that I remember what ‘that girl’ is made of.  And believe me, she has a lot of fight left in her.”

Mackenzie’s emotional blog post comes shortly after she teased a possible MTV spin-off featuring her and her hubby. It was in that announcement too that Mack pointed to MTV’s faulty editing as a cause of misunderstanding. “It’s kind of something that will provide a little insight into our lives,” she said on Instagram. “So instead of seeing just like the 10-minute snippets of chopped up conversations of our lives, y’all will kind of get to see why we are the way we are, or why you think I have a super tough exterior.” Well, we will definitely be tuning in!
