Man on a mission! Matt Roloff is in progress of building a new home and revealed it’s in pretty close proximity to the family farm. The Little People, Big World star said he purchased the property sitting on over one acre of land on Nov. 1 and is now working on giving the area a makeover.

Matt revealed the property comes with “three different ‘tear down homes,’ so what we’re doing now is a pretty significant cleanup,” he shared via his Instagram video. The reality star was updating his followers from the seat of the track hoe, while doing some work and getting Jeremy and Zach Roloff all set up with their firewood needs for the chilly months ahead. “We’ve been cutting and making sure that they’ve got enough to keep warm all winter long,” Matt added.

The LPBW star explained his big plans for the overall project, dishing, “I’m probably going to tear these homes down and build a new home on a one acre lot here.” The 57-year-old also hilariously captioned his video, “Matt Roloff wouldn’t be Matt Roloff without another big, exciting project to work on!” Several fans were hoping he’ll show off the finished product on the show, so perhaps we’ll have even more to look forward to on the highly anticipated next season.

Matt’s thrilled his new digs won’t be far from Roloff Farms, the massive compound that he and Amy bought in 1990 and raised their kids on. Many fans speculated he was going to abandon the area now that he’s in a relationship with his new girlfriend Caryn Chandler, but clearly that’s not the case. Obviously, she gets along well with the family since she joined Matt and his loved ones during their recent trip to Maui. It’s already being speculated that this property could be where he and Caryn plan to settle down in the near future, but we’ll have to wait and see!
