Yikes. Lori Loughlin’s health is taking a toll after it was revealed the former Full House star was involved in a nationwide college admissions scandal. “Her physical appearance, her weight is what concerns her friends most,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “Lori is losing weight. She looks skinnier than ever. It’s not good. The case is definitely getting to her.”

The insider also noted that Loughlin, 54, is overstretched after she was allegedly involved in the fraudulent scheme. “Lori is under tremendous pressure, and it’s starting to show,” they explained. “She’s putting on an amazing front, laughing and signing autographs, but she’s super stressed out.”

It’s no surprise that the New York native feels this way. Just a couple of months ago, Loughlin’s life seemed perfect — she had a great relationship with her kids, she was in a committed and loving marriage and had a thriving career.

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested in March after they allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters, Isabella, 20, and Olivia, 19, designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” The duo was later released from jail on $1 million bond.

On Tuesday, April 9, Loughlin and Giannulli were hit with new money laundering charges for their alleged involvement in the scandal. The couple was two of the 16 parents who were indicted by the Federal Grand Jury in Boston after refusing to take a plea deal. Meanwhile, Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in connection to her alleged participation in the wrongdoing.

Loughlin could face 20 years in prison if she is found guilty, and a second insider told In Touch that she is anxious about what the future holds. “They’re both freaking out that the judge wants to make examples of them and put them behind the bars,” they said. “It’s a very real possibility. Their fame isn’t doing them any favors this time around. There’s absolutely no sympathy for Lori and Felicity.”
