He’s moving! Or is he? Matt Roloff is selling the property he bought near the Roloff family farm just a few months ago in November 2018, but it’s not clear what his next move is just yet. According to a new report from Radar Online, the Little People, Big World star purchased the three-home lot for $345,000, and as of April 2019 there’s an offer pending for $385,000. But what does the sale mean? Is Matt moving away from the farm, buying Amy out, or was he just getting into that house flipping game?

“If the farm is gonna cause strife, I could walk away from it,” Matt said in the trailer for season 14. “We are on the precipice of the most transitional point in the Roloff history ever.” And it’s not the first time he’s mentioned the idea. “We’ve been talking a lot about the farm. Trying to figure out how to keep it or not keep it,” he said in a clip from the show shared in June 2018. “I just want my own path away from the farm, away from Amy.”

He’s also talked about how taking care of the farm can be a lot to manage. “There’s part of me that wants to keep the farm and build a house that suits me, but part of me just wants to sell the farm and liquidate it and move on,” he said on the show. “It’s a burden.” He’s got options, too. After selling his last Portland, Oregon home in 2018, he found a new place to live in Arizona — his girlfriend’s parents’ old house. Calling it an investment property, he explained that now that he owns a home in that area, he could fix it up to be the perfect vacation spot.

“I do enjoy the heat and the low humidity, so I bought a house down here,” he said in June. “Instead of going to hotels and staying at different places, I can have one location very conducive to my short stature. … I feel really physically good down here. And then also there’s the fact of just breaking away from the farm for a week here, a week there.” And though he’s far away from his family, he knows how to keep them close. In March 2019, while visiting Arizona, he shared, “I scroll through my favorite photos and videos to keep my heart close to home. ❤️”
