There’s seems to be trouble in paradise for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Lil’ Scrappy and Bambi Benson — and now fans of the VH1 reality series can’t help but wonder what this means for their wedding plans.
While having a conversation with Scrappy’s mom, Momma Dee, Bambi admitted that she is still “hoping for some growth” when it comes to their relationship — leaving her future mother-in-law to worry about whether or not they will make it down the aisle. Dee also explained that she knew about Bambi’s jealousy and trust issues, while her man later explained to pal Jasmine Burke that they both have issues they need to work on, but he does love her.
Fans were also thrown for a loop when the rapper was shown rehearsing a scene with Jasmine, his longtime pal — because it wasn’t revealed until AFTER they nearly kissed that he was just trying his hand at acting.
“It can be easy. You just have to tell her about us,” Jasmine said at the time.
Yeah — that was alarming!
The couple has been fuelling split rumors for quite some time, even though he just proposed to her on last season’s finale episode. In Touch reported back in January that they had called off their relationship, though it’s hard to keep up with this on-again, off-again couple. There have even been rumors that Lil’ Scrappy has been trying to win back his ex and baby mama, Erica Dixon.
Bambi was hospitalized shortly after their alleged split, which MediaTakeOut said happened because Scrap refused to ditch his partying ways.
“These past few days have been so physically and emotionally painful. I wasn’t going to share this because it will be a joke to some but others will get it. I’ve been beating myself up trying to take care of other people and finally got that dramatic reminder that I need to chill and take care of myself. When God speaks to you and you know it’s him you better listen. I’ve been so hard-headed but I get it now,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
