‘LHHNY’ Stars Remy Ma And Papoose Welcome Their First Child Together — It’s A Girl!
Congrats are in order! Love & Hip Hop: New York star Remy Ma and her husband Papoose welcomed their first child together — a baby girl. Remy gave birth to the couple’s daughter on Friday, Dec. 14, and the couple took to Instagram to share their baby announcement with their fans.
“The Golden Child is here!!! Thank you @papoosepapoose for making me the happiest wife on the planet. #BlackLove #RemAndPap #BabyMackie #ShesMADDDDcute,” the 38-year-old wrote in the caption of a text post announcing the sex of their baby.
Meanwhile, Remy’s hubby Papoose took to Instagram to shared the exciting news. “I found a new love!!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Queen [Remy Ma]. She is beautiful!! Wowwwwwww THE GOLDEN Child IS HERE!!! #thegoldenchild Gonna continue, working on me. So I can be a great father. Happy,” the 40-year-old gushed on Instagram.
The “Underrated” rapper also shared an update with fans on Instagram while Remy was giving birth to their daughter, whose name has yet to be revealed. “Tough labor…but my wife is still fighting through it. She’s a warrior! Keep us in your prayers. The #goldenchild is on the way,” Pap revealed just five hours before their child was born.
After suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy, Remy Ma underwent IVF treatments in order to conceive their baby girl. Remy and Pap announced their pregnancy in July, and Remy revealed that she completely changed her lifestyle in order to get healthy so that she could carry a child.
“I lost a lot of weight prior to getting pregnant [again], so I can have a successful pregnancy,” she said back in October on The Breakfast Club radio show. “I had to keep my weight down and keep it stable for about a year. I stopped eating meat. I stopped eating carbs, cut out sugars.”
Remy is already a mom to 18-year-old son Jayson from a previous relationship and Pap is a father-of-three from previous relationships. This marks Remy and Pap’s first biological child together.
