Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner Are at War Over Their Competing Makeup Lines (EXCLUSIVE)
We hope that they can kiss and ~makeup~ after this tiff!
Okay, terrible jokes aside, we truly do hope that Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner can recover from their latest feud, which is over their competing makeup lines. As most people living on the planet know, the 19-year-old has found tremendous success with her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, which began as a collection of lip kits, but has since expanded to include eyeshadow palettes, blush, and highlighters.

More than a year after introducing Kylie Cosmetics, Ky collaborated on a set of lipsticks with her sister, who later launched her own brand, KKW Beauty, beginning with a contour kit. Needless to say, Kylie is less than pleased with her 36-year-old sister.
“She feels like it’s a slap in the face from her own big sister,” an insider tells In Touch, exclusively. “Everyone in the family was thrilled except for Kylie.”

This sibling rivalry has been stewing under the surface for quite some time, the insider reveals. According to the insider, things first got tense when Kylie overthrew her sister when it came to Instagram fame; while Kim continues to have more followers than her youngest sister, Kylie has been known to have higher engagement — meaning she tends to rack up more comments and likes from her 95 million followers.
Things got even more tense when Kylie and Kim both introduced their own apps (as did their sister, Khloé, Kourtney, and Kendall) and Kim’s only made it the 32nd spot on the iTunes chart, while Kylie’s skyrocketed to No. 1.
And it was the announcement that Kylie was getting her own reality show, Life of Kylie, that truly pushed Kim over the edge.
“That was the last straw,” the insider tells In Touch. “This makeup line is a way for Kim to show Kylie who is the most famous in the family.”
