Kylie Jenner Hospitalized for Severe Flu-Like Symptoms in Los Angeles
Yikes! Kylie Jenner has been hospitalized for severe flu-like symptoms, Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, September 25. Kylie was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after she had some symptoms including nausea and dizziness, a source told the outlet.
“Hi, guys! So, as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier [Rousteing]. Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help be there in spirit,” she wrote on Twitter on September 25.
She continued, “Creating this collection with Olivier has been a dream. Of course, this collection isn’t just for the runway. I created this so that you could have a piece of this once in a lifetime event. I’m SO proud of this collection and of Olivier, and our friendship, vision and creativity really comes across in the products we created for you guys. Make sure you guys watch the show with me on Friday. It’s going to [be] an epic event, and I can’t wait. I love you, Olivier. Congratulations, and I’m sending you all my love!!!”
Just hours before, the self-made billionaire posted about her new makeup collection on Instagram. “KYLIE X BALMAIN,” she wrote. “Launching this Friday 8 a.m. PST after the Balmain Paris show! Stay tuned on my stories today for more! @KylieCosmetics.”
It’s no surprise that Kylie was ill since one day earlier, the 22-year-old took to her Instagram Story to reveal that her best friend Sofia Richie, 21, hung out with her while she recovered from her illness. “Bae came to take care of me,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet captioned a photo of the pair snuggling in her bed together.
While Kylie’s older sisters Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian presented at the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 22, at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, the mom of one was apparently supposed to be in attendance. However, since she wasn’t feeling too hot, she couldn’t make the show. Kim, 38, and Kendall, 23, didn’t explain why Kylie wasn’t there and continued to present without her.
Meanwhile, Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, is currently in Paris with her boyfriend, Corey Gamble. But Kylie’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, has been at the hospital with his baby girl, TMZ reported. It’s unclear whether Travis Scott is by Kylie’s side or at home with their child.
On Saturday, September 21, the brunette beauty snuggled with her daughter, Stormi Webster, via her Instagram Stories. Unfortunately, Kylie revealed that her little girl was under the weather, too. In the clip, Kylie is cuddling the 19-month-old baby, who was giggling as they spent time together outside. “My sick baby,” the makeup mogul called her baby right before Stormi accidentally whacked her mama in the face.
In early September, the E! personality got candid about being a mom and all of the germs one is exposed to. “I get sick [10 times] more now that I have a baby,” she captioned a photo of a mug of tea at the time. “Parents … Is this true for you, too?” she asked by displaying a poll for her fans to vote in.
