It seems like Twilight actress Kristen Stewart is exploring an Alien-like situation, only rather than the threat coming from deep space, it’s beneath the ocean waves. The way that 20th Century Fox is selling Underwater based on its description, it feels like a disaster movie: “After an earthquake destroys their underwater station, six researchers must navigate two miles in the dangerous, unknown depths of the ocean floor to make it to safety in a race against time.” However, when you watch the trailer above, there’s certainly the impression that this is a horror movie, because there’s something down there with them and it ain’t friendly. Will those oceanauts be picked off one at a time? Check out the trailer and see what you think.
