Kris Jenner Slams O.J. Simpson Affair Rumors on ‘KUWTK’: ‘It’s Just Lie After Lie After Lie’
Shutting it down. Kris Jenner slammed rumors that she had an affair with her late husband Robert Kardashian Sr.’s good friend O.J. Simpson during the Sunday, November 3, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian explained to her 63-year-old mom what was going on in the news. “It says O.J. Simpson once bragged about his hot tub hookup with wife’s best friend Kris Jenner that led the momager needing hospital treatment,” the 39-year-old said. “Simpson reportedly claimed the size of his manhood sent Kris Jenner to the hospital. According to his former manager, Simpson and Jenner hooked up in a hot tub. Norman Pardo quoted Simpson that he ‘f—ked that bitch until I broke her.’”
But Kris immediately told her side of the story. “Well, first of all, never heard of this person,” she vented. “And that never happened. That f—king piece of s—t. It’s really kind of pathetic that when rumors get started, the media gives it life and breath. And on the anniversary of Nicole [Brown Simpson’s] death, it’s so tasteless and disgusting. It’s just lie after lie after lie after lie, and there’s only so much that one human being can take.”
Later on in the episode, Kris spoke to Khloé Kardashian about how she was feeling after she read the absurd headlines. “You know, it’s just bulls—t, man. Just after 25 years, you’d think that it just wouldn’t be a thing,” Kris said while tearing up. “I’m so over stupid rumors of things that never happened. I think it’s just really wrong, and you’re almost forced to address them.”
Kris revealed in her 2011 memoir called Kris Jenner … And All Things Kardashian that she had cheated on her late husband while they were married. Afterward, Robert divorced her when he found out she was unfaithful to him. For years, fans thought Kris and O.J., 72, were intimate with one another since Robert represented O.J. during the trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman.
“I think it’s just really unfair to Nicole’s family, my family for these stupid rumors to be flying around out there,” Kris said — especially since she was so close with Nicole in the ’90s. “It’s always right there under the surface. My team has decided to take legal action because once and for all, I have to do something about it.” Kris revealed that she sued The Daily Mail, who printed the report in the first place. “I called my attorneys to say, ‘Take it down or we’re coming after you,’” she said.
Throughout all of the chaos, Kris met her friend Faye Resnick — who was also a dear friend of Nicole’s — for lunch at Toscana in Los Angeles. Despite getting choked up about missing her friend, Kris told Faye, 63, they should focus on the good times. “I think we just need to have these amazing memories that we had with her and celebrate all of that,” she shared. “You know, it’s hard to put into words how much I miss somebody that was such a big part of the fabric of my younger life. Never underestimate what that person that you don’t have with you anymore has meant to your life and your soul.”
A few weeks later, the former athlete — who was eventually acquitted of both murders in October 1995 but was deemed liable for the deaths in 1997 in a civil lawsuit — took to Twitter to clear the air about all of the gossip. “Never — and I want to stress never, in any shape or form — did I ever have any interest in Kris, romantically or sexually,” he said in June. “And I never got any indication that she had any interest in me. So, all of these stories are bogus, bad and tasteless.”
In the end, the mom of six seemed happy that everything was in order. “And then that Twitter video. I am really happy he set the record straight,” she said. “Done and done.”
