On last night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, emotions were especially high as Kim Kardashian was forced to relive her horrific robbery that took place back in October. And while fans got to hear the harrowing details from Kim’s perspective for the first time ever, people were also left with many unanswered questions — including the outcome for the robbers.

So did they catch Kim Kardashian’s robbers? To some extent, yes.

Back in January, 17 people were arrested after they were suspected to be involved in the crime, and shortly thereafter, several of them confessed to being involved in the heist. At the time, the French police arrested five alleged robbers and another man, who was believed to be an accomplice who drove the getaway car, were identified by law enforcement authorities.

After the initial arrests, French authorities confirmed the identity of more suspects who were charged in association with the crime; a 63-year-old man named Yunice A. was the first charged and faced charges of armed robbery in an organized gang, kidnapping, and criminal association.

Shortly thereafter, a 44-year-old named Florus H. faced similar charges, and then Maceau B., 64, was faced with preliminary charges of handling stolen goods. Finally, a 27-year-old man named Gary M. — who was the brother of Michael, who was hired as Kim’s chauffeur — was charged with assisting an armed robbery and kidnapping; at the time, Michael was released without charges.

During last night’s episode, Kim recounted how the situation went down.

“I was looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs. I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision,” she recounted during last night’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back — it makes me so upset to think about it — but either they’re going to shoot me in the back or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator doesn’t open in time or the stairs are locked, then I’m f–ked! There’s no way out. And then, [one robber] grabs my legs and I wasn’t, you know, I had no clothes on under. He pulled me toward him at the front of the bed, and I thought, ‘OK, this is the moment they’re going to rape me.’ I fully mentally prepped myself — and then he didn’t.”

From there, they taped her mouth shut and her legs together and threw her in the bathtub — but luckily, didn’t do anything else.

After last night’s emotional episode, Kim took to social media to talk about how the incident changed her.

“I took a tragic, horrific experience and did not let it diminish me, rather [I] grew and evolved and allowed the experience to teach me,” she said. “I can say I’ve become so much better because of it… Thank you for allowing me to share my story tonight.”
