This must get exhausting. During a Sunday service event on Jan. 13, Kanye West reportedly offered his thoughts on the whole R. Kelly situation and people were…not pleased with his response. According to Complex. Per usual, it didn’t take long for wifey Kim Kardashian to come to his defense!

In clips recorded from the Kris Jenner-live-streamed performance, Kanye, 41, reportedly said, “They just gonna pull up full documentaries on him.” He added, “Then they gonna come with the Michael [Jackson] documentary… We can all enjoy all their music all we want. I thought I wasn’t going to go there today. If we’re gonna tear down artists, let’s go ahead and take [Leonardo] da Vinci out the Lourve. Let’s take down all the art.”

Long story short, since the premiere of Lifetime’s series Surviving R. Kelly, sexual misconduct allegations against R. Kelly have come to light yet again. There’s been a lot of talk about pulling his music off of iTunes and taking other actions against the performer, and about whether fans can enjoy his music despite the allegations. Kanye seemed to be making a point about that, but Kim says not so fast. “I’m going to nip this in the bud right now,” she wrote on Twitter. “Kanye was speaking about his own experience of everyone quick to say they are canceling him because of differences in opinion & not being perfect. The analogies were in context to his own experiences, not defending anyone else.”

Kim added in another tweet, “I want to make it very clear, he is not condoning anyone’s actions or unacceptable disgusting behavior. My husband’s words are being taken out of context due to timing.”

This is far from the first time Kim has tried to explain Kanye’s questionable statements or actions. In April, Kim denounced people assuming things about her husband’s mental health in regards to his support of President Donald Trump. She wrote on Twitter, “He’s a free thinker. Is that not allowed in America? Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card? That’s just not fair.”

Kim then added, “Most people (including myself) have very different feelings and opinions about this. But this is his opinion. I believe in people being able to have their own opinions, even if really different from mine. He never said he agrees with his politics.”

Do you think Kim ever gets tired of making these statements about her husband? I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Kanye tries to “clarify” his feelings about R. Kelly on Twitter himself.
