Khloé Kardashian Responds to Justin Bieber’s Emotional Post About Drugs and Depression: ‘We Are So Proud of You’
Open and honest. Justin Bieber got candid and uncut in an emotional essay he shared to Instagram on Monday, September 2. The child star, 25, divulged the struggles of growing up famous and how that has affected him — specifically with his drug addiction and spells of depression. One of the many celebs that praised Justin for his bravery was Khloé Kardashian with a moving note shared to Instagram on Tuesday, September 3.
“People need to be less judgmental and understanding that we are all trying to figure out life. Lead with love,” wrote the 35-year-old on her Instagram Story where she shared Justin’s post.
The “Baby” singer wrote, “You see, I have a lot of money, clothes, cars, accolades, achievements, awards and I am still unfulfilled.” He continued, “Have you noticed the statistics of child stars and the outcome of their life? There is an insane pressure and responsibly put on a child whose brain, emotions, frontal lobes (decision making) aren’t developed yet. No rationality, defiant, rebellious, things all of us go through. But when you add the pressure of stardom, it does something that is quite unexplainable.”
Justin opened up about his drug use and stated that his wealth allotted him the access to anything be desired. “Everyone did everything for me, so I never learned the fundamentals of responsibility. So by this point, I was 18 with no skills in the real world, with millions of dollars and access to whatever I wanted.” Adding, “This is a very scary concept for anyone.”
Below the moving post, Khloé also showed her love in the comments writing, “This is beautiful!! Thank you!! We are so proud of you!! I needed this! God bless you always.”
Many other celebrities came out supporting Justin for being so honest with the world. “Proud of you,” wrote his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, while Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote, “Great message brother.”
The Biebs concluded his sentiment writing, “All this to say, even when the odds are against you — keep fighting.” We are so proud of you Justin, thank you for sharing your story with us.
