Girl, are you sure about this? Kendra Caldwell and her new husband, Joseph Duggar, took to Facebook on Sunday, Sept. 17, to share a video of themselves getting excited about their Friday, Sept. 8, wedding. In the short clip, Kendra, 18, said she couldn’t wait to become Mrs. Duggar. “We are so excited about our wedding day. It’s coming up quick, so we’re super excited,” the teen said while sitting next to her future husband. Even Joseph, 22, seemed stoked AF to exchange “I dos” with Kendra.

“Right now we’re really excited. I’ve been keeping busy with just different details and things that have to be finished before we leave and so I think we’re very excited,” he added in the clip. “But we’re not ultra nervous because we’re keeping ourselves busy.”

Despite the young couple’s joy over their nuptials, fans are actually really concerned for Kendra. Why? Well, some are worried that she will be oppressed by the Duggar family’s strict religious rules. Learn more in the video below!

The Counting On stars follow a lot of the same principles as the Quiverfull religion, though both Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have denied that’s the sect of Christianity they associate with. Quiverfull is known for putting emphasis on conservative, patriarchal values.

“She doesn’t get to pursue an education or explore other avenues. She has been raised to be subservient to a man and to be nothing more than a breeder. It isn’t something to celebrate. It’s incredibly sad,” one upset fan wrote, while another described Kendra as a “poor, young, brainwashed girl.”

As previously reported, Joseph and Kendra — who met at church — revealed their plan to wed back in May. “We are so excited to be engaged and look forward to a lifetime together. We are so grateful for how the Lord brought us together, and we look forward to this special time of engagement and to some day serving Christ as man and wife,” the pair said in a statement posted to the Duggar family’s official website.
