She’s on the road to recovery! Kelly Osbourne just celebrated a year of sobriety and has a new lease on life now. The former reality star said that even though she has been sober for a year, she still has a lot to work on.

“It feels amazing, but the first year is really hard for everyone,” Kelly told In Touch exclusively. “People have this whole notion that you can be fixed and I am not fixed. I am now just beginning to start to know who I really am and I am not even close. Life is really scary but I get to do things for the first time all over again, which is great and just really figure out who I am and what I am but it’s tough. That first year is really f—ing tough.”

Kelly admitted that she was just “numb the whole time” when she was going to events before she got clean. She is now living day by day and realizes “she f—ing hates feelings” and she’s “getting used to that, too.”

Now, Kelly wants to help others who were in her position a year ago. She teamed up with Loosid, a free sober social app, which allows people to meet other sober people and build a community. There are events, meetups, and it can even be used as a dating site.

The Osbournes star wishes she had this app a year ago when she was struggling. She said, “I haven’t looked at the dating side of it, but you can find some people to date on it. It’s instant community because it’s so important when you live a sober lifestyle to build that community of sober people.”

The 34-year-old luckily had her famous family to lean on when she went through dark times. “They have just been amazing. My brother has been the one, more than anything because he truly gets it. My mom is a normi…she is there for me as much as she can be. She will always manage to say that one thing that you’re like oh, why the f—k did you say that! But she is only trying to help because she cares so much. Without the support of my family this year, I don’t think I could have gotten through it. They have been there for me like crazy when I know that they should have given up on me by now, but they didn’t,” Kelly confessed.

Kelly admitted that she thought she would be bored living a sober lifestyle, but really she is doing more now than she ever has. “I am not hungover and like a lot of my friends aren’t sober and when we do stuff, I am always the first one up, the first one out the door, you know. I am excited about life in a whole new way.” We love this new attitude!

“Listen to what people are telling you to do, talk to people, don’t keep stuff in and just take it each day as it comes,” she said. “And if you fall, just dust yourself off and try again.”

She’s such an inspiration. You go, girl!
