A true artist at work. Kanye West has been meticulously working on his next album for a while now and sources say the 42-year-old won’t release it till it is absolutely perfect — no matter the cost.

“Kanye is always a perfectionist and is always redoing things at the last minute but this is even more extreme,” an insider close to Kanye told In Touch exclusively. “He’s spending so much money re-recording things and flying people here and there … meanwhile, he has so many people involved in this recording because of his giant Sunday Service team, and he is funding all of it himself.” The source adds, “Kim is flipping over the amount of money he is throwing away.”

So, what makes this drop different from the rest? “Kanye is combining all of his passions in this latest release. In the new documentary, he is showing off the housing structures he has been designing and the film uses some IMAX technique that he has patented.” For Kanye’s vision to come to life, no corners were cut. “Millions and millions and millions of dollars went into this — it’s insane.”

Back in August, wife, Kim Kardashian, threw fans for a loop when she posted a list on Twitter that looked a lot like a tracklist. The list appeared to have a common theme with items labeled: “Jesus Is King,” “Clade,” “Garden,” Selah,” “God Is,” “Baptized,” “Sierra Canyon,” “Hands On,” “Wake The Dead,” “Water,” “Through the Valley,” “Sunday,” and “Sweet Jesus.” The list ends with “September 27,” which many speculated would be the release date.

Back in 2018, Kanye announced the impending release of his album Yandhi which was supposed to follow Ye. The project has gotten delayed several times. Fans have been anxiously awaiting the release, but still nothing. Luckily Kanye and his fam were just spotted at a listening party for the album in late September, which means it will be here soon!

Although fans were excited by Kim’s tease, some were worried about the religious aspect of his new music. “Tell Kanye his fans want an album not Psalms from the bible. Ty. 🙏🏽,” wrote one user while another said, “So this is gonna suck.” They do say, good things come to those who wait!
