Uh Oh! Kanye West Has Become ‘100 Percent More Controlling’ Over His Wife Kim Kardashian
Trouble in paradise? Even though Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been married for five years, the rapper has become “100 percent more controlling now” over his wife, a source exclusively told In Touch. “Anything Kim does that he feels isn’t ‘godly,’ he speaks out and tries to stop her. For a long time, Kim’s given Kanye space for his self-expression with the agreement that he’d keep her out of it,” the insider explained. “But with his newfound religious ways, it’s impossible for him to separate how he feels and his marriage.”
However, the 39-year-old KKW Beauty founder “ignores him mostly,” the source added. “But she’s fed up with having to defend herself.” Apparently, the couple has had plenty of “fights” over Kim’s clothing choices. “As Kanye has grown more and more religious, he’s been telling Kim what to do and how to dress and behave,” they said.
In fact, during the Sunday, October 13, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the 42-year-old Grammy winner was not feeling his wife’s skin-tight Met Gala dress. “A corset is like a form of underwear, it’s hot it’s, like, it’s hot for who though?” he asked just one day before the lavish affair.
“So, the night before the Met, you are going to come in here and say you are not into a corset vibe? You give me really bad anxiety, what are you talking about?” she clapped back. “Why is that giving you anxiety to say that?” he asked. “Because you knew last night I was having really bad anxiety, and I don’t need any more negative energy for you to now say that you aren’t into me wearing a tight dress,” she said.
“You are my wife, and it affects me when pictures are too sexy,” Kanye said. Ultimately, Kim defended herself, saying, “You built me up to be this, like, sexy person and confidence and all this stuff,” she shared. “Just because you are on a journey, and you’re on your transformation, doesn’t mean that I am in the same spot with you.”
Now, the E! personality finally revealed the real reason why Kanye wasn’t digging her look. “Well, the dress initially, since I was wet coming out of the water, there were nipples attached to it,” she said during an appearance on The Real on November 5. “I think with editing, I don’t know, I’m not sure if we actually put that part into that fight [on the show]. So, he was really certain that he didn’t want that on the dress and had mentioned it multiple times. And that was still on there, so we did have that discussion.”
The brunette beauty added, “I obviously want to be appropriate for my children, and there’s enough for them to see already. I could tone it down a little bit. I totally compromise.”
Kanye recently called his marriage “heavenly” during a special episode of Airpool Karaoke with James Corden. Hmm … well, only time will tell what happens with these two next. Hopefully, they can get their relationship back on track.
