We first met and fell in love with Jenni “JWOWW” Farley on MTV’s Jersey Shore — and we’re about to see a whole new side of her on TLC’s talk show Young Americans, which premieres on Jan. 25, 2018 at 8 a.m. The mother-of-two exclusively opened up to In Touch about how she’ll advise millennials when it comes to money, dating, and more — and she even sought out experts and celebrity guests, like Brooke Hogan, to assist with this journey.

“There were two main things why I wanted to bring her on. For Brooke, it was she grew up in the spotlight and was always worried about skincare, went through puberty on TV, all that stuff,” she explained of the Hogan Knows Best alum and singer during a Facebook Live.

“There’s always going to be a tagged picture of you where you’re not going to look the best. There’s always going to be a skin problem because everyone has skin problems. That’s why I brought Brooke on. I wanted her to talk about her experiences and what she uses to help them and help her skin and talking about insecurities we all have.”

Young Americans “wants you at the end of the episodes to feel inspired and feel like you can be the next Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg, who can create the next best thing.” Jenni “can guide you through that. I feel like there are a lot of people who want to shut you down, like close family members — it’s really hard to get people to help guide you towards who you want to become.”

“I was actually asking the producers, ‘Why me?’ I was on a reality show, I came from reality TV, I never hosted a talk show — and they said, ‘It’s because of that. We were fans of yours growing up and watching you and you always kept it real,'” she continued.

“I guess I did. Then [I] grew into this mom with two kids, a husband — at the end of the day, you’ve always been real transparent. You’re a millennial, and you’re always looking out for your friends. That’s really what the show is about. It’s millennial-based talk show, but we’re just trying to inspire millennials. We’re trying to guide them and help them.”
