After over half a decade of being a mom, Jenni “JWoww” Farley actually has this whole parenting thing down, thanks. The Jersey Shore star clapped back after one of her followers tried to tell her how to raise her kids now that they’ve added a pet to their family. On Friday, June 26, the MTV mama announced they adopted a kitten named Muffins, but after she shared photos of the cat cuddling up with daughter Meilani, one commenter had something to say.

“Please teach [Meilani] how to be gentle with the new baby,” they wrote. “Children don’t always understand that kittens are fragile. I hope little [Muffins] works [out] for you guys.” They clarified in a second comment that they didn’t actually think JWoww’s 6-year-old daughter was “being tough” in the photo, but the mom of two wasn’t impressed.

“Yes, because, as a grown adult who grew up with cats and raised two children, I had no idea that kids had to be careful and gentle with kittens who weigh less than my hand,” JWoww, 34, snapped. “Absolutely no idea.”

The Family Vacation star regularly claps back at her haters, but it seems all of the trolling is starting to get to her. Earlier in the month, she hinted the constant criticism might even push her to follow in BFF Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s footsteps and quit the show. In December, Snooki announced her decision to retire from the reality TV series so she could spend more time with her kids and get away from all of the drama. Though she and her costars have become a family over the years, she revealed she’s not having fun like she used to.

“Our show, Jersey Shore, is about family and making fun of each other and having a good time and laughing and just knowing that it’s all in good fun. Lately, everything is so serious,” she said on her podcast. “It’s not about a team anymore. Fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. I don’t want that.”

After Snooki’s last episode — featuring the fallout from her disastrous speech at Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding — aired in June, JWoww announced that it might be time for her to walk away, too. “I am way [too] ride or die to see you leave,” she wrote on Twitter. “If you’re done, I’m done. There’s no JWoww without my Snooki. 😩”
