Junk Food and Disney Collabs With the NBA for Vintage-Inspired T-Shirts To Celebrate Season Restart
Teamwork makes the dream work! Junk Food clothing and Disney collaborated to release a limited-edition collection T-shirt line to celebrate the restart of the NBA season in Orlando at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
The Disney x Junk Food NBA Collection offers short- and long-sleeved T-shirts for all 22 teams that returned for the season. It also features apparel in the league’s “Whole New Game” theme.
The vintage-inspired line is meant to remind fans of souvenir Disney T-shirts bought on vacation growing up, and designs include beloved characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck. Each of the cartoon icons’ playful personalities come through in the designs, each wearing their team’s uniform while spinning or holding a basketball.
Throughout the remainder of the regular season and Playoffs, additional team styles will be released featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. The line will also feature a collection of NBA Championships T-shirts to celebrate the team that wins the NBA Finals.
The Disney x Junk Food NBA Collection is currently sold online at NBAStore.com and Fanatics, NBA team stores, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The shirts retail from $34.99 to $39.99.
