Y’all, we need to have a little chat. The Duggars are arguably the most controversial family on television, but whether you love them or hate them, it’s safe to say we can all agree on one thing: Josie has some serious talent! The eight-year-old is the youngest member of her famous family, but she’s already a rising Fundie pop sensation. The youngster has been showcasing her singing ability in home videos and on YouTube, and yes, even on a Christian album

Earlier this week, Jim Bob and Michelle took to Instagram to reveal the Duggar girls have been working on a “special project” — aka Happy Heart and little J steals the show. Of course, this shouldn’t come as a total surprise; Josie has been singing pretty much since she was old enough to speak!

Back in 2014, the proud parents showcased her sweet voice on an episode of 19 Kids and Counting, and I still think about it to this day. That’s not weird, is it?? In the clip, a then four-year-old Josie belted out her own rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and even the producers couldn’t help but smile.

The national anthem must be a favorite song of the reality star, though, because it’s also on their album! Seriously, do yourselves a favor and listen to the two-minute recording on Spotify. It’s adorable.

In a sneak peek for Monday’s Counting On episode, matriarch Michelle went behind-the-scenes with her daughter and attempted to teach her the words to the song. “The bombs,” Michelle said. After Josie gave it another try and messed up, she repeated, “The bombs. There was more than one bomb.” LOL.

In other words, this little girl has achieved more in her lifetime than I ever will. Sigh. Why was I never signed up for “music training,” mom?! JK love you.
