ICYMI, the Duggar Girls Recorded an Album and the Family’s Reactions Are Too Adorable
The Duggars are known for many things — side hugs, long skirts, and gross meals, to name a few — but singing is not one of them. Although Joy-Anna once showcased her average-at-best voice during church, most people don’t think of music when they think of the large brood. Until now, that is! Over the weekend, Counting On‘s Facebook page shared a sneak peek of the girls’ new album (yes, you read that correctly), and now other members of the family are posting their reactions.

Most recently, Jeremy Vuolo — who is married to Jinger Duggar — took to Twitter to ~sing~ its praises. “My little sister-in-laws just released a CD and it’s phenomenal,” he wrote on Aug. 8. “But be cautioned: you’ll find yourself singing ‘Happy Heart’ in your head — and occasionally awkwardly loud in public — for at least two weeks straight.” So cute!

Derick Dillard also took to the social media platform and commented, “Jill’s little sisters and their niece have a new CD that just released yesterday!” He repeated, “The new CD, ‘Happy Heart!’ contains 10 songs that are perfect for children! It’s available now on Amazon, Spotify, and at https://www.duggarstore.com.”
Of course, the news doesn’t exactly come as a total surprise. Last month, the Duggars shared a video of Josie singing a different part of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and said they were working on a “special project.” Fans were clearly impressed with the eight-year-old, though, because they wrote rave reviews online.
“Just wow! Such a big voice for such a little girl,” one person wrote on YouTube. Another added, “Amazing! Josie really sings beautifully!!!” and a third chimed in, “What a sweetheart! She sounds beautiful!”
Believe it or not, many of the family members play instruments, too. Back in February, the Duggars took to Facebook to share a sweet video with several of the girls performing the Catholic hymn “Faith of Our Fathers,” and TBH, they weren’t half bad.
Look out, world, we feel a Grammy coming!
