Jill Duggar’s Pot Roast Recipe Shows No Sign of Actual Pot Roast, Just Whole Potatoes and Carrots
Uh — it looks like you’re missing an ingredient, Jill Duggar! The former Counting On star is known for posting her lackluster recipes on the family blog, but this time, fans are slamming the mother-of-two for seemingly leaving out the most important part of the dish: The pot roast!
After uploading her “easy slow-cooked pot roast recipe,” redditors ~roasted~ her for not dicing up the potatoes beforehand. “So we just gonna eat whole potatoes in this sad pot roast JillyMuffin?” one person wrote. Another commented, “WTF is this? Get it together, Jill! Everyone knows potatoes in pot roast taste better when they are chopped up and can soak up the juices.” They added, “I don’t consider myself to be a good cook by any means, but maybe I should start a blog where I make better versions of Jill’s dishes.” A third chimed in, “Literally the only things she’s allowed to be good at are parenting and cooking. WHY HASN’T SHE LEARNED HOW TO COOK?” Ouch.
Most recently, the 27-year-old was slammed for not knowing the difference between a quesadilla and a burrito. Jill posted a recipe for her “easy pan-fried bean and cheese burritos,” which were basically just tortillas filled with toppings, folded over, fried in a skillet, and cut into pieces. “Burrito? Even living In Latin America you didn’t learn the difference between a burrito and a quesadilla hahaha, that’s a quesadilla,” laughed one commenter.
We should give credit where credit it due, though. After all, her casserole recipe didn’t look that bad. ?
