Is This Proof That Jenelle Evans Truly Bit the Bullet and Quit ‘Teen Mom 2’?
Did she or didn’t she? Jenelle Evans threatened to quit Teen Mom 2 on the July 30 episode of the hit MTV show, and fans think they may have found proof that she truly went through with it. Jenelle’s longtime producer was spotted filming with Kailyn Lowry in a recent Snapchat, so does that mean her gig as Jenelle’s producer is obsolete? Check out the video above to see the Snapchat video.
Fans first noticed Kristen Schylinski in the background of one of Kail’s posts on Aug. 1. Kristen can be seen dancing around with Kail’s boys, while a cameraman filmed the fun scene. So does this mean she’s no longer working with Jenelle? Not necessarily.
In 2016 – the first season producers were seen on-air – Kristen explaiend her status on the show. Kristen has worked on the series since Season 2 of 16 and Pregnant. She was originally working with Jenelle and Chelsea Houska when Teen Mom 2 started, and then she “transitioned to working with Jenelle full-time during the third season.” “I became a co-executive producer [in 2015]” she said. “My role is to primarily be with Jenelle, then I go to any of the other girls on an as-needed basis.”
So perhaps she’s just helping fill in with Kail since Kail recently revealed that she no longer wanted to work with her longtime producer JC Cueva following rumors that they hooked up. There has been no announcement that Kristen is Kail’s new permenant producer, but if she is, it’s possible that it’s because Jenelle quit.
Jenelle threatened to leave the show after becoming frustrated that they refused to film her husband David Eason following his firing. “He will film the next season or I’m not doing it,” Jenelle said on the episode. “I have people offering me stuff for Netflix and Amazon right now… I will do my own thing.” It seems like Jenelle herself is already on thin ice after her road rage incident, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
