He’s Here! Javi Marroquin And Lauren Comeau Welcome First Child Together A Few Weeks Early
Congratulations are in order for Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin and his girlfriend Lauren Comeau! The same day he signed a contract to appear in the next celebrity boxing match, Javi revealed that his baby boy had arrived a few weeks early at Dover Kent General Hospital in Delaware.
Despite giving birth before Lauren’s due date, Javi says everyone is happy and healthy. “Mom and baby are doing great,” he told Radar, adding that the little one is 6 pounds and 13 ounces. However, there was one awkward side effect of the early birth: “We still haven’t decided on a name!” Javi said that Lauren’s mom and sister-in-law were also in the delivery room with the couple, and his son Lincoln, 5, is also on the way with ex-wife Kailyn Lowry to meet his new baby bro. Despite some drama between Lauren, Javi, and Kailyn, she wished her baby daddy “congrats” after hearing the news on Twitter.
Just hours before the new baby was born, Javi said he was “killing time” (perhaps in the hospital?) and did an Instagram Q and A with fans. When one asked him what his biggest fear is, he answered, “it’s cliche, but failing as a dad to Linc and my new baby.” We don’t think he needs to worry about that at all! He’s already an awesome dad to Lincoln, and Lauren seems like she’ll be a great partner in raising their first baby together, too!
The couple announced that they were expecting back in May, which surprised fans because the duo had dated last year and broke up before reuniting in March. He started dating her super quickly after breaking things off with fellow Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus, leading some fans to speculate that he had actually cheated on her and gotten Lauren pregnant. The fact that the baby came early certainly doesn’t do anything to put that rumor to bed, but all that matters now is that Lauren and Javi are happy, and their baby boy is healthy. Congrats, guys!
