Earlier this week, it was confirmed country singer Jason Aldean is dating American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr–the same woman with whom he cheated on his wife, Jessica, last year.

But Jessica, the mother of his two children, isn't letting the drama get to her — thanks to lyrics of encouragement from another country star, Kelly Clarkson!

"The Verizon Ringback tone on Jessica's cellphone is Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger,'" a source close to Jason's ex tells In Touch. "This was certainly not the case last year."

For those unfamiliar with Kelly's hit tune about empowerment, the lyrics go, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger/stand a little taller/doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone/what doesn't kill you makes a fighter/footsteps even lighter/doesn't mean I'm over because you're gone."

Definitely sounds like amazing advice right now!

Jason and Jessica had been together since they were teenagers and were married for 12 years when he was caught kissing Brittany in September 2012. At the time, he issued a public apology on Facebook.

"The truth is that I screwed up," he wrote on Facebook shortly after the original photos surfaced online. "I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand, and acted inappropriately at a bar."

Following the incident, Jason and Jessica attempted to work on their marriage, but he ultimately filed for divorce last May.
