Is he coming back?! In recent months, Little People Big World alum Jacob Roloff has made up with his formerly estranged family — and fans are convinced he’s returning to the reality show he walked away from once he turned 18 last summer.
Jacob, 20, took to Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 19, to share a photo of himself hanging out with his nephew, Jackson, the adorable four-month-old son of Zach and Tori Roloff. And loyal LPBW viewers think this is reason enough to believe Jacob will definitely appear on the upcoming season of the hit TLC reality series.
“OMG Jacob is coming back y’all, mark my words. Now that he’s cool with his family I just KNOW he’s gotta come back,” one super-optimistic fan wrote, while another commented, “I bet Jacob’s gonna come back. He just had some growing up to do and now he’s cool with his family so it’s all good.”
Fingers crossed that Jacob does appear on LPBW again, because TBH, we’ve missed TF out of him. However, we totally understand his reasoning for leaving the show when he did. Back in February, in a lengthy blog post written for his website, Jacob revealed why he couldn’t stand to film one more scene.
"I saw tears in my mom's eyes and I suddenly realized that this staged 'joke', 'fake' thing was affecting real life in a profound way," he wrote, adding that he was furious with the network for manipulating his family during his parents Amy and Matt Roloff’s contentious divorce.
Whether or not Jacob — who is currently dating 21-year-old Isabel Rock — decides to come back to the show full-time, it seems as though we will definitely see him when sister Molly’s August wedding to Joel Silvius eventually plays out LPBW. "Jacob drove Molly and her bridal party around in the mule and the cameras were right on them,” an insider told Radar Online this summer, saying it “would be impossible” to edit him out of the footage.
