Sean Lowe failed to win Emily Maynard’s heart on season eight of The Bachelorette, but he succeeded in captivating America with his Southern charm, easy smile — and those abs!

In an exclusive interview and photo shoot at the Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, Calif., Sean, 29, strips down for the new issue of In Touch and opens up about his hopes in finding love as the new Bachelor. “I’m very hopeful that I’ll meet a great girl. I would love to get married. I’m absolutely ready for love.”

So what is Sean looking for in a woman? “Honestly, I’ve dated all types of women,” Sean explains. “She has to be genuine, want the same things I want and have a great sense of humor.”

The 6-foot-3 former linebacker, who works as an insurance salesman, is as modest as he is magnetic. “Hopefully, people will see me for what I am: sincere, genuine and fun.” He explains, “I’m just a normal guy.”
