She's extremely brave for opening up! Married at First Sight star Jaclyn Schwartzberg was forced to confront her heartbreaking past on this week's episode of the hit Lifetime series. Even though she signed up for Season 6 and agreed to marry a stranger chosen for her by a team of experts, she was still grieving the loss of her previous boyfriend — whom she thought was her soulmate — less than two years ago. But how did Jaclyn's boyfriend die?

Earlier in the season, Jaclyn opened up about the tragic, sudden loss of her boyfriend. "He had an undiagnosed autoimmune disease growing up as a child, and it was by far the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my entire life," the 29-year-old explained. "But I also think its what brought me here."

Even though she felt that she was ready to move on and marry Ryan Buckley — a 29-year-old firefighter — she wasn't prepared for the emotions that resurfaced while she was preparing to move in with her new husband.

In one scene, Jaclyn started to cry as she went through boxes full of mementos that reminded her of her deceased boyfriend. "The last move I had was with my last boyfriend who meant the world to me, but then he passed away," Jaclyn told the cameras and admitted that it was the first time she was going through the boxes since his death.

But her husband Ryan did not know to react to Jaclyn's tears and he was honest about his feelings. "I'm here to back her up and help her as much as I can, but I mean — I'm confused," he said in his confessional. He later revealed that he interpreted Jaclyn's emotions as proof that she still has feelings for her deceased boyfriend and he questioned whether she was ready to move on to another relationship.

Fans are going to have to tune into Married at First Sight, airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime, to find out if they can work through this!
