New decade, new ‘do. Hayden Panettiere showed off her fierce new haircut while taking to Twitter on Thursday, February 6. The Nashville star received several compliments from fans while unveiling her new look in a series of photos, and this time, she opted for a creative spin on a classic pixie style by buzzing one side of her head.

“Thank you to my girl for my bomb haircut!!! #NaomiSzloboda #SunsetPlazaSalon,” she captioned the first snap. Hayden, 30, also shared another portrait showing her sitting in the chair while her stylist got to work.

The actress exudes major confidence in every pic and her followers definitely took notice. “You look awesome! Miss seeing you on my TV,” one wrote in response. “You look so different with that haircut … more sophisticated,” another added.

Hayden has been resurfacing more on social media as of late, following her 10-month hiatus back in 2019. Unfortunately, one of the blonde beauty’s recent tweets ended up sparking backlash, even though she had the best intentions.

When the news of Kobe Bryant’s tragic death broke on January 26, the Heroes star posted a message on Twitter to pay her respects to the NBA icon. “I can’t believe the legend is gone,” she wrote. “Doesn’t seem real that a man that big in spirit could b touched. Reminds us that we’re ALL on borrowed time. RIP #Kobe We love you. #Legend #KobeBryant.”

Not long after, some people got upset because they felt that Hayden didn’t give any recognition to the other individuals who sadly died in the helicopter crash. The star quickly decided to set the record straight when she noticed the heated remarks.

“I honestly don’t understand how anyone can take what I said about KB negatively,” the New York-born celeb wrote. “He was a friend of mine which is why I singled him out. Don’t just try to find flaws because ur bored and want to have something negative to say. I don’t single people out just because. #dontbabully.”

Hayden previously made headlines for her relationship drama with boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, however she said that “everything’s always been OK” between them back in November.

Just one month prior, another source told In Touch they were still together, despite rumors they called it quits. “It’s hard on Brian that he can’t be in public with Hayden. He loves her,” the insider said. “Brian says that he and Hayden have not broken up. They have never broken up.”
