Hailey Baldwin ‘Is Not Going to Leave’ Justin Bieber Amid Depression Battle
She’s standing by her man! Ever since Justin Bieber entered therapy to work through depression and trust issues, his wife, Hailey Baldwin, has been patient with him while he gets the help he needs, a source told Us Weekly.
“Hailey is not going to leave Justin and he won’t leave her either,” the insider explained to the outlet. “She’s been so supportive of him throughout this process.”
Justin, 24, and Hailey, 22, got married in a secret ceremony at a Manhattan courthouse in September 2018, and it seems like he’s happier than ever with the model. The “Sorry” crooner “overall has improved a lot, especially since being with Hailey,” the source noted.
However, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies for the newlyweds, as they have “some issues, but are committed to working through them,” the source continued.
At the end of the day, the Drop the Mic host knows that marriage takes a lot of effort. “But we’re two young people who are learning as we go,” she told Vogue earlier this month. “I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s all a magical fantasy. It’s always going to be hard. It’s a choice.”
She continued, “You don’t feel it every single day. You don’t wake up every day saying, ‘I’m absolutely so in love and you are perfect.’ That’s not what being married is. But there’s something beautiful about it anyway — about wanting to fight for something, commit to building with someone.”
The Canada native is not in rehab but is trying to get his life back on track. “He sees a therapist, but he’s not in a special center or anything,” the source said. “He doesn’t want to be dependent on medication. He struggles with ups and downs, anxiety, depression and uncertainty about future.”
Justin doesn’t “trust those around him and has backed away from certain friends because he’s afraid people are using him,” the source added. “He’s been claiming friends are stealing his beats and things like that.”
