Hailey Baldwin Accused of Treating Pet ‘Like a Puppet’ After ‘Shaking’ Dog on Instagram
Looks like Hailey Baldwin is in the dog house. The model, 22, has been accused of treating her dog, Oscar, poorly by many fans on Instagram. The blonde beauty shared a video of herself shaking her puppy, while telling her followers, “Don’t worry, he loves it.”
Many of her fans were upset by the clip and pleaded with her to stop hurting him. One user wrote, “Please stop abusing your dog, OK,” while another echoed, “The dog is not a toy, Hails.” A third chimed in, “Don’t do that with your puppy. I don’t think he’s liking it.” One fan was very concerned, commenting, “How do you even know if your dog likes it? To be shaken like a puppet? Poor dog. Cruelty!”
On January 11, Hailey ironically posted a GIF of herself kissing a Labrador puppy, to help promote the makeup brand Bare Minerals on Instagram. “Did you know that @bareminerals is #crueltuyfree?” she captioned the snap. “Just another reason why I love their clean, good-for-you products. #powerofgood #cleanbeauty.”
Fans were quick to flood the comment section with their thoughts about the ordeal. “Hope you don’t shake that pup, too,” one wrote. However, some of her followers remained loyal and actually stuck up for the Drop the Mic host. Another user said, “All the dog comments need to stop! You guys freaking complain about every little damn thing!! Omg, she shook the dog a little bit,” while a second person wrote, “You just want something to complain about! Get over it!”
Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, 24, introduced their new addition via Instagram on December 22, and ever since, the power couple can’t stop posting and snuggling with him. It looks like the newlyweds have really been enjoying life with their new family member.
We know it’s a dog eat dog world out there, Hailey, but hopefully you’ll take better care of little Oscar next time.
