As we wait for Kylie Jenner to announce her pregnancy (we haven't slept in a month, but it's cool), we're starting to wonder if the whole damn thing is fake. This would definitely debunk what could be the best Keeping Up with the Kardashians plotline of all time, so we're hoping Kylie is for real about to have Travis Scott's (or Tyga's, we're not picky) baby. What's certain is this: the mystery around Kylie's baby definitely ranks among some of the most notorious celebrity pregnancy conspiracy theories of all time.
The thing is, Hollywood seems to be peppered with pregnancy hoax after pregnancy hoax, and while baby rumors are rampant these days, some stories seem so farfetched part of you wants to believe everyone is boasting a fake baby bump. So from Beyoncé to Janet Jackson (yeah, for real, Janet Jackson), here are some of the most mysterious pregnancies and the insane rumors surrounding them.

Beyoncé
We're gonna kick off with the obvious — to this day, people believe that Beyoncé was never pregnant with little Blue Ivy, and the argument against it is damning. All you need to do is rewatch that one video where her belly folds in half to be convinced that she never carried that bb herself. Signs would point to a surrogate and a fake, apparently foldable, baby bump.
Intimate footage of Bey and Jay in the delivery room in the "Die With You" vid seems to contradict this conspiracy theory. Likewise, Beyoncé definitely wasn't hiding her bump when she did that fanciful Instagram pregnancy photo shoot for the twins. Still, it's hard to watch (and rewatch) that video and unsee the disappearing belly.

Katie Holmes
Maybe it's the Scientology thing (it's definitely the Scientology thing) but every single aspect of Suri Cruise's birth was suspect. Considering that Katie's entire marriage to Tom seemed like a scarily orchestrated grab for good publicity, no one was inclined to believe that Suri was conceived out of the couple's loudly-shouted love.
To begin with, Katie's growing and shrinking bump had people thinking she had a whole wardrobe of fake belly's back at the mansion. There was talk that she was pregnant, but with the late L. Ron Hubbard's frozen sperm (which, you know, ew). And then when Tom and Katie kept Suri in hiding for legit months people doubted she even existed, and that maybe the couple was having trouble at Rent-A-Baby.
One Vanity Fair cover and 11 years later and Suri is very much a real person. Hell, with the striking mother-daughter resemblance we're even willing to believe that Katie is her legit mom. But we still wonder what went on behind the scenes when it came to her actual birth…

Janet Jackson
This one is under-the-radar and pretty epic. Bear with us.
There is a rumor dating back to the dark ages about how Janet became pregnant at 16-years-old but gave it up for adoption. Some speculate this baby is actually Janet's niece Brandi, who was adopted by her brother Jackie when Janet was (wait for it) 16. And what adds an extra layer of OMG to the situation is that Janet's ex-husband James Debarge has actually claimed that they had this secret daughter together on the reality show *Growing Up Hip Hop_. Whatever the case may be, this is a thing and has been a thing for a very, very long time.
Now fast-forward to last year when Janet announces she's pregnant with her first child at the age of 49. Yes, re-read that last part: at the age of 49. Lord knows that's not a biological impossibility, especially if you're a celeb who can throw money at any fertility difficulties, but it is a steep age to start conceiving. So some started to believe that Janet wasn't, in fact pregnant. It was her biological daughter carrying her baby (or is it just a baby?) and Ms. Jackson was slated to raise it as her own.
That's. Legit. Insane.

Eva Mendes
We're going to slow things down a bit with this alleged pregnancy hoax, because the reason behind the doubt is, well, half-funny and half-embarrassing. Eva Mendes and Ryan "Hey Girl" Gosling had been on-and-off for years, and most of us were hoping that he would end up making it work with Rachel McAdams. So when it was announced in 2014 that Eva was out-of-nowhere seven months pregnant with Ryan's baby there were only two appropriate reactions: "No f–king way" and "How f–king dare he?"
Because really, that's ice cold.
As it would turn out the rumors were horrifyingly true, and the pair welcomed daughter Esmeralda on Sept. 12 of that same year. The last of the famous Internet boyfriends was lost that day. Sometimes we still cry about it.

Nicole Kidman
It often comes back to the whole bump thing, though, right? People were doubting that Nicole was truly pregnant with daughter Sunday because she was barely showing at eightmonths. Oh, another fake belly, is there just like a store on Melrose that sells those? Adding to this theory was the idea that Nicole's actress sister Antonia Kidman was the real surrogate.
Antonia is a bit of a celeb in Australia and is the host of From Here to Maternity. Rumor has it that Nicole's little sis took some time off from shooting for undisclosed reasons, i.e. to carry a more-famous Kidman baby. But pictures of Antonia taken around the time Nicole was supposed to be heavily preggers show her with a very flat stomach. So she's probably not the suspected surrogate… but who's to say someone else wasnt'?

Jennifer Lopez
The story behind J.Lo's "fake pregnancy" is a bit more concise and prettily easily resolved. See, when she first stepped out with then-husband Marc Anthony all knocked-up, she looked… well, she looked enormous, TBH. We're not saying this to shame, we know that when you have to carry another human being you're going to put on a few pounds, it's fine. But Jennifer's bump was almost egregiously large, and it made fans take a bit of a side-eye.
Of course, we now know that Jennifer was pregnant with twins Max and Emme, so that would reasonably justify her size. Case closed, more or less.
