Duggar Sisters Style: Skirts and Dresses Are All the Rage in This Throwback Pic

Looking good! It’s Throwback Thursday, and fans are living for this resurfaced photo of the Duggar sisters showing off their chic style. Jana and Anna are rocking skirts while Jessa switches it up by wearing a cute dress in the snap, which includes Jana’s BFF Laura DeMasie.

Fans just took notice the sweet photo on Laura’s Facebook page from this summer, showing the ladies smiling in front of a coffee and pastrie shop. The Duggar daughters have been looking more fashionable than ever lately, especially going into the fall. On Sept. 24, Jinger Duggar got all dressed up before hanging out with husband Jeremy Vuolo‘s family, and she looked like a million bucks. The Counting On star was flooded with compliments after sharing a stunning photo of herself clad in a khaki dress and sexy wedge sandals.

Prior to that, the Duggars shared a photo of Jana rocking a skirt where they gushed over her “heart of gold.” For a long time, you’d never see a Duggar woman in anything but long skirts or long dresses, but the girls have slowly started wearing pants as well. Jill recently wore form-fitting jeans while celebrating her mother, Michelle Duggar‘s birthday, and fans figured Jill was imposing her own sartorial rules considering she held the luncheon at her house.

Michelle previously revealed why she and Jim Bob decided that skirts and dresses were the most appropriate clothing choice for their daughters. “Jim Bob and I had a conversation at that point and I said to him, I really feel like the Lord is impressing upon me that I should be modest in what I wear. And also, that I really should be defining who I am as a woman by choosing to wear dresses and skirts,” she told TLC in 2013. Now that the girls are getting older, it looks like they’re more open to trying new things!
