Who Is ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Dominique Potter? Details on Kailyn Lowry’s Ex-Girlfriend
Fans were finally introduced to Kailyn Lowry‘s girlfriend on last night’s brand new episode of Teen Mom 2, but unfortunately, two are already over. Dominique Potter briefly dated the mother-of-three before finding out she was cheated on — Kail admitted to hooking up with Javi Marroquin following his split from Briana DeJesus.
Needless to say, the breakup wasn’t exactly cordial. After finding out (via Twitter, no less!) that Kail was getting down with her second baby daddy, she’s posted a series of tweets shading the reality star mama — and we can’t say we blame her! Get to know more about Dom below.

Dom made her TM2 debut last night and took the opportunity to throw some shade at her ex. Watch the video for all the deets!

Details about what she studied and where she works are unclear, but we do know she studied at the New Jersey college thanks to her Facebook page. Dom also seems to spend a lot of time in the Garden State. In March, she posted a snap while getting her hair cut in Jersey City. Plus, her Instagram bio states, “NJ Doing more with less.”
She hung out with Kailyn’s kids.
On Nov. 17, Kailyn posted a sweet pic of Dominique with her son, Lincoln, on Instagram Stories, and she’s a natural when it comes to kids! In June, Dom’s nephew was born, and she took to Instagram to post a photo with the caption, “Welcome to the world my handsome little nephew! Congrats to @sinforjesus and @martssx3 on bringing this stud into the world! #hehasbighands #readyforconormcgregor.” Adorable!
She wasn’t looking for love.
According to RadarOnline, Kail said they were just friends before things turned romantic. “We were friends for a year until it just kind of like turned into it [a relationship]. It’s not like she was trying to wine and dine me to ask me to be her girlfriend.” She added, “We go out to eat, but it’s kind of hard cause I have kids, I have a baby” she confessed. “I have never gotten a babysitter and gone on a date.”
She loved gushing about Kail on Instagram.
Prior to their messy breakup, Dom wasn’t shy about using social media to confess her feelings about Kail. In a post from Oct. 13, she wrote, “There really aren’t many people on this earth that I’d do all this last minute s–t with. Sidebar — to the 5k+ followers I recently got after she posted me, y’all better use this time to comment on how poppinnnn she looked during this NYC trip.” Awww. #RIPlove.
