The Challenge stars Cory Wharton and Cheyenne Floyd, who share daughter Ryder, are the newest additions to the Teen Mom OG cast, and on Sept. 10 we got our first look at them on the show! 

MTV released a new trailer for the upcoming season, and it shows Cheyenne and Cory struggling to co-parent their sweet little girl, and Cheyenne trying to navigate dating as a single mom. At one point she can be seen crying and saying she’s going to be a single mom “forever”! 

Cory and Cheyenne first announced the exciting news on Sept. 6. “Finally I can come out and talk about what I’ve been filming for a couple months now ?,” Cory, 27, wrote on Instagram beside a slideshow of photos and videos of his family filming for the show. “I’m excited to announce my family will become a part of the Teen Mom OG cast!!! Can’t wait for you guys to follow our story on starting on October 1st.” He also joked on Twitter about whether or not fans were ready to see the Ex on the Beach playboy as a dad.

Chey, 25, actually kept Ryder a secret from her daddy for the first six months of her life, but now they’re a happy little family, and we’ll get to see how it all happened on the show. “I think that there was a lot of questions regarding my pregnancy from the beginning when I got pregnant,” Cheyenne explained to Us Weekly. “It will be interesting to now tell people what actually happened. Everybody knows that Cory didn’t find out about Ryder until she was six months and now everyone’s questions will get answered as to what actually happened.”

Cheyenne and Cory have each been featured on several shows on MTV, finding a romantic connection on The Challenge: Rivals 3. So even though they aren’t technically OGs on Teen Mom, they’re definitely familiar faces for Teen Mom fans.

Speaking of fans, how are they feeling about all this? “Cory & Cheyenne are going on Teen Mom OG & IM SOOOOO EXCITED TO HEAR THEIR STORY ?? OH MY LANTA,” said one thrilled fan, but not everyone felt the same way. “So now Cory & Cheyenne are joining #TeenMomOG with Bristol Palin …what in the s–t show,” said a less-than-pleased Twitter user. We’ll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds!
