Collin Gosselin Reunites With Dad Jon And Sister Hannah In New Family Instagram Pic!
He’s getting so big! It’s been years since fans have seen Collin Gosselin on his family’s hit reality TV series Kate Plus 8, but thanks to social media, followers were able to catch a glimpse of the 14-year-old. Collin made a rare appearance on his dad, former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin‘s Instagram account with his sister Hannah, and they documented their reunion in a sweet family photo.
In the pic, Collin and Hannah both smiled for the camera as they posed with their dad in front of their home. “Had a good weekend visit with Collin at home!” the proud papa wrote in the caption.
It’s the first time that fans have seen a photo of Collin in months. Back in May, Jon, 41, and Hannah, 14, reunited with Collin for his 14th birthday — which he shares with his brothers and sisters since they are sextuplets. “Glad I could celebrate my son Collin’s 14th birthday with him and his sister!” Jon wrote in the caption of the cute pic.
Jon shares eight children — 14-year-old sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel and 18-year-old twins Maddie and Cara — with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin. But the former couple had been involved in a nasty custody battle over their kids ever since their very public 2009 divorce.
Since Kate had primary custody of the kids in 2016, she was the one who ultimately made the difficult decision to send Collin to an away-from-home program in order to get the attention that he needs because he has special needs. Kate opened up about how hard it was for her to make the decision to send Collin away for treatment, where he would be far away from his family and friends.
“We miss him so much, so it’s been hard because there is a huge hole in our family without him here,” Kate told People at the time. “But it comforts us to know he’s where he needs to be right now, and I can feel good about that.
