Change was in the air, huh? Flip Or Flop star Christina El Moussa already got married once, and for her, once was enough for a while. Or so she thought. According to an interview with Us Weekly from June, the HGTV star actually didn’t see herself going for round two until “maybe” 2020! Considering her secret marriage to Wheelers Dealers host, Ant Anstead, on Dec. 22, it’s clear Christina just couldn’t wait the extra two years.

The 35-year-old’s interview just goes to show you don’t know where you’ll be in a few months. Back in June, she said she could “definitely” see herself walking down the aisle again with Ant — though it probably wouldn’t be until 2020. But what made her so sure of that? Christina’s insistence that she and Ant would make the move toward marriage eventually came from her belief in the foundation of their relationship.

She told Us Weekly how “grounded” Ant is, and how they “enjoy doing simple things together.” She explained, “We like to go for bike rides, we love hanging out at the beach, having dinners. We do weekly date night and we just make sure that we have really great conversations and it’s all good.”

Like they legit jumped out of a fairy tale, Christina and Ant recently spent their first few wedded days celebrating the holidays. That celebration included one of those “simple things” they love doing together — bike riding. The couple took to the streets of Newport Beach and looked like the picture-perfect couple, NGL.

Two of their four kids were in tow for the ride as well. Christina shares Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with her ex-husbandTarek El Moussa of Flip Or Flop, and Ant has a daughter Amelie, 15, and a son Archie, 12, from a previous marriage. Ant and Christina have really put the focus on their kids since joining their families. “We wanted to make it about the kids,” the 39-year-old host told People about their wedding. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”
