Congratulations! Chrissy Teigen revealed she is pregnant in a scene from husband John Legend‘s “Wild” music video on Thursday, August 13. The proud mama and the singer are expecting baby No. 3, The two are already parents to Luna, 4, and Miles, 2.
In the music video, Chrissy and John illustrate their love story as they can be seen getting playful on the beach and sharing several romantic moments. The video concluded with John’s hand on Chrissy’s stomach, highlighting her baby bump.
Before the release of the special music video and their announcement, the beauty teased the exciting news by posting a single smiling face with hearts emoji on Twitter.
In August 2019, Chrissy opened up about wanting more children while responding to a fan on Instagram. On a photo with her two kids, one user commented, “I think you can fit one more little one on the end,” to which she replied writing, “All good! Gonna try to wait a few years before trying again. These guys are exhausting!”
Months later in October, she reiterated how she’s not ready for baby No. 3 while sharing a photo of her son covered in pink and blue paint. “When I had zero babies I wanted 4. Then 1, I wanted 3. Then 2, I’m good with 2. Just posting this to look at when I’m pregnant with my third,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.
Previously, the fashion icon has been candid about her struggle to conceive and has openly discussed her experience using in-vitro fertilization. “You know, we did IVF and it’s kind of crazy because even though you do all this planning and preparation, you take progesterone and inject your body and do all this stuff—and when I finally did get pregnant I was like, ‘Oh crap, are we ready?’” she told The Cut in April 2018. “I think it kind of doesn’t matter whether you do all that preparation or whether it’s a surprise. You still wonder if you’re ready. But then you hear from enough people that you’re never really ready, and you just go for it.”
