’90 Day Fiancé’ Stars Chantel and Pedro Are Still Going Strong Despite Family Drama
While fans originally thought that 90 Day Fiancé's Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno were faking their romance for the cameras, the duo have proved the haters wrong — and though things still aren't picture-perfect for the lovebirds, they seem to be enjoying their life together.
The duo first met on Facebook after Chantel's former Spanish teacher introduced her to Pedro to help her learn the language, and though they hit it off right away, things got tense once they got married. One of their biggest disagreements was over money, as Pedro, 27, wanted to send the cash they earned to his family in the Dominican Republic — which was a red flag for Chantel's family.

"I feel like I'm second in Pedro's life," Chantel admitted in a clip from the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. "He's just willing to give them whatever they want to be comfortable, and my parents suspect that Pedro's family wanted him to marry me for a green card. I don't know if I totally agree with my parents, but at the same time, he does send a lot of money back."
The family's suspicions hit an all-time high this season when they hire a private investigator to dig up dirt on Pedro. "I'm concerned with Chantel's safety," her mom explained, while another family member added, "He might have another family in the Dominican Republic." Things get so bad that a physical fight broke out over dinner between Pedro and Chantel's brother.

Despite all the drama, Chantel, 26, is thriving as she works to achieve her career goals. "I am really having fun in nursing school!" she wrote on Instagram. "Hard work pays off." The 26-year-old is also a fitness fanatic, posting photos of her physique and her workouts in the gym with captions like, "Stay motivated! Don't let anything distract you from the grind time prime time. It's your time right now!"

Chantel has also shared a ton of Instagrams of her and Pedro together, including photos from Thanksgiving, vacations, and more. And though her family may not approve of their relationship, fans totally support them. "Y'all are so cute together. Tell your brother to back off," one fan commented, while another gushed, "I love you guys. My favorite couple on the show. God bless your marriage always!"
