Bye, haters! After Teen Mom OG's Catelynn Lowell announced that she was returning to rehab for a third time due to her struggles with anxiety and depression, fans lashed out at her, claiming that she wasn't trying her best to overcome her problems — but Catelynn is defending herself and clapping back at the Internet trolls.
Though she'll have a chance to speak out on the reunion show, Cate responded to the naysayers via Twitter. "I wasn't 'running away' from my problems, I was FIXING them! Working HARD [and] getting on the right medication. I wouldn't wish this crap on my worst enemy!" she stated. "But I guess I'll have haters no matter what! Just glad I got myself better and if people are mad, then be mad I guess."
The decision to go back to rehab wasn't an easy one, as Catelynn felt guilty over leaving her and husband Tyler Baltierra's 3-year-old daughter Novalee. "When I was in treatment, I struggled with the fact that like, you know, am I like putting her through the same stuff my parents put me through," she confessed to Dr. Drew Pinsky in a clip from the reunion special. "Like, just traumatizing her… it still scares me."
Despite rumors and Catelynn's worries about a possible divorce from her hubby, she and Tyler are still going strong, and he's continued to give her all the support she needs as she continues to battle her demons. "Marriage [and] relationships aren’t always sunshine [and] rainbows. I believe love begins as a feeling, but evolves into a choice," Tyler wrote in an emotional Instagram. "A choice to sacrifice for that person, a choice of dedicated commitment to one another [and] understanding the selfless acts that are required from both to maintain serenity."
His devotion to his other half hasn't gone unnoticed, as Catelynn often voices her appreciation of Tyler for sticking by her side as she works on bettering herself. "I love you so much!" she captioned a recent selfie of her and her man. "For all you haters, vows say — in SICKNESS and in health… remember that… because this man has done that for me beyond what I could imagine."
