Cardi B Gushes Over Offset on Her First Mother’s Day as a Mom: ‘Best Husband Ever’
Happy first Mother’s Day, indeed! Cardi B took to Instagram on Sunday, May 12, to gush over her husband, Offset, for giving her the best Mother’s Day gifts. Of course, the Migos rapper showered his wife in lavish, expensive gifts for her first year celebrating the holiday as a mommy to their daughter, Kulture.
“I’m not saying I got the best husband ever, but I really got the best husband ever,” the 26-year-old said, then wrapped her arm around Offset, 27, and hugged him. “Thank you babe, I love you for giving [me] my baby and my Birkins! Ooh, bitch. Aowww. Thank you so much.”
The “I Like It” rapper flipped the camera from front facing to forward facing to show off not one, but two Birkin bags. Fans also caught a glimpse of Kulture, 10 months, who was standing up on her own while holding onto a couch and cooing.
But of course, Cardi quickly switched into mama mode when she noticed her baby girl had something she shouldn’t have. “Hey, take that out your mouth,” she told her baby.
It was nice to see Cardi and Offset were able to work through their issues and they are still together as a family with baby Kulture after their very public split in December 2018. Cardi addressed their breakup in an emotional Instagram video message. “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. And we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners and, you know, he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we’ve got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault,” Cardi said. “I guess we just grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. It might take time to get a divorce. And I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father. Yeah.”
