Caitlyn Jenner Bought Gifts for True — but Will Likely Never Get to Meet Her

Last April, Khloé Kardashian said she hadn’t talked to Caitlyn Jenner in two years — but now her former stepdad is trying to make amends. A source revealed to Life & Style that the Olympian — who is now reportedly engaged to Sophia Hutchins — is desperate to meet True, and in fact, already bought her gifts.

“When Cait and Sophia went splurging on gifts for Stormi, they splurged on True too,” the source revealed. “Cait’s got a house full of surprises for True, so you’d think she’d just had a baby herself!”

Unfortunately, Caitlyn may have jumped the gun. After all, Khlo revealed back in February that having her daughter wouldn’t change their relationship. During an interview with Ross King on the UK’s Lorraine, Koko was asked how having a child would affect things between her and Cait. “I don’t think that affects anything with Caitlyn. No, yeah, [things are] just as they are,” she said bluntly.

But Cait thinks she’s owed a meeting. The source explained, “To be honest, Khloé’s cried on Cait’s shoulders saying she wanted to have a baby for years and now that she has one, Cait feels it’s only right she gets to meet it and would be devastated and feel ultimately betrayed if Khloé prevented her from meeting and being in the baby’s life.”

The 33-year-old Good American designer hasn’t been shy about her struggles with fertility in the past. On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians last year, Khloé met with a fertility specialist, who informed her that she’s not as fertile as she may have thought.

“Shut the f–k up!” she said after hearing the news. “This is definitely not at all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can’t get pregnant?”

Thankfully, she was able to make her motherhood dreams come true — no pun intended — although it hasn’t exactly gone as planned. Not only did she find out just days before giving birth that her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, cheated on her, but we’re sure she’s not exactly thrilled about the Cait drama.

“Cait’s anxious to meet True and has begged Khloé to fly to Cleveland to meet her but to no avail,” our source continued. “Like Stormi, Cait thinks True’s a gorgeous angel with adorable little cheeks. Cait understands thinks aren’t on the best of terms with Khloé and that’s cool. But for the love of God, she hopes Khloé won’t be as petty and stubborn like she has been and let her meet True.”
