Caitlyn Jenner Subtly Disses Khloé Kardashian on Her First Mother’s Day
In a touching Mother’s Day post, Caitlyn Jenner celebrated all the moms in her life including her ex-wife Kris Jenner, daughter Kylie Jenner, and even former stepdaughter Kim Kardashian. However, noticeably missing from the Instagram Stories montage was her other stepdaughter (and new mom) Khloé.
The former Olympian did not mention the 33-year-old reality star, who welcomed daughter True on April 12, in the photos — which have since been deleted from her account. However, this diss shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to fans of the KUWTK stars, who have been feuding since Caitlyn’s memoir was released last year.
In a recent interview, when asked if daughter could help reconcile their relationship, Khloé responded, “No, I don’t think that affects anything with Caitlyn.” [Things are] just as they are.” Ouch. Earlier this year, a source also told In Touch exclusively that “Khloé won’t be letting Caitlyn anywhere near that baby.”
Previously, Caitlyn opened up about her estranged stepdaughters and revealed to Piers Morgan that she “didn’t trust” the Kardashians and didn’t show them the last few pages of her memoir Secrets of My Life, where it was revealed she was undergoing gender confirmation surgery. “I didn’t want them to leak it to the press, okay?” she explained. “There was no reason for them to know about it. I didn’t tell anybody. Why? It’s none of their business.”
Before that, Caitlyn dissed her ex-wife Kris in the book, which prompted Khloé to distance herself from the 68-year-old. “It was very hard for me to experience a lot of new things so quickly and still feeling like I have to protect my mom and certain things that were happening where I felt like they might not have been the most positive,” Khloé said on the show. “But then I was also like, ‘This isn’t even my fight to fight anymore. I have my own s–t to deal with, so why don’t you guys figure that stuff out.'”
Despite the snub, Khloé received plenty of gifts from other members of her family on her first Mother’s Day, showing off “Mommy” flower arrangements she received. “I feel loved,” she captioned the pic.
