Crossing Paths

Caitlyn, 69, and Sophia were first introduced to each other through their makeup artist and hairstylist a few years ago. At the time, Sophia attended Pepperdine University.

Sophia actually admired Caitlyn’s bravery and discussed how inspired she was by the reality star during an interview with her alma mater’s newspaper.

While trying out Instagram’s new “Ask Me Anything” feature that same summer, Sophia even hinted that she was dating someone, writing: “Oh yes!” with a heart-eyes emoji.

However, when the transgender model was asked if Caitlyn was her girlfriend, she responded with an eye-roll. At least they’re happy, right?

Addressing the Speculation

The I am Cait star didn’t discuss her new relationship until later that year. “We are not going to get into [the rumors],” Caitlyn told Variety. “But we are very close. We’re kind of inseparable. We’re the best of friends.”

Sophia and Caitlyn continued to make public appearances together and it was obvious there was trust established, because Sophia soon became the executive director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation.

“We’re partners in everything we do, we’re inseparable, we’re business partners, we live together, we share a dog, we share family, we share a life together,” Sophia said about their bond. She later added, “I would not use the word ‘girlfriend,’ I would not use the word ‘dating.’ We’re partners.”

Of course, fans wanted to know if the Kardashians also welcomed Caitlyn’s new partner with open arms. The pair shocked fans by showing up to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Christmas Party in 2018.

“So happy to be with family last night!” Caitlyn captioned her posts. “Boy oh boy!!! @kimkardashian and Kanye know how to make a winter wonderland!! So good seeing everyone and celebrating such a special time of year with you all!”

Sophia also took to social media to express how grateful she was to spend the holiday with the brood. “Thank you @kimkardashian Kanye @krisjenner for hosting this amazing Christmas Eve winter wonderland party last night! Truly magical,” she wrote.

Caitlyn and Sophia even celebrated their first Christmas together in December 2018. The model showed off their glittering tree and revealed how “blessed” she felt to be ringing in the occasion at their Malibu home.

Overcoming Tough Times

Luckily, the former Olympian’s home survived the destructive Woolsey fire that impacted Malibu in November. Sophia revealed how scary the experience was during a social media update.

Update on Their Abode

“We had less than 10 minutes, before the flames surrounded us, to pack up a few special belongings and our puppies,” the 23-year-old said via an Instagram video. “We got out. We are safe. We don’t know the full extent of the damage, but when we left it was not looking good at all.”

Traveling Together

Fast forward to now, and it looks Sophia and Caitlyn are still just living their best lives together. The dynamic duo ventured to Indonesia in January and paid a visit to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party in February.
